 Planet Four Films is an independent film production company based in Detroit, Michigan.  Established in 2004 by Director Brian Lawrence (Corrupted Minds, Life Goes On, She Kills!), this select group of film professionals, actors, writers and artists is creating world class motion pictures for domestic and international distribution.

MY AMERICAN COUSIN

Production on the newest project, a short film called My American Cousin, is currently underway.  The story involves the close friendship between two cousins whose fates are tied together after a terrible accident.  With a script written by James Stirling Lawrence and Brian Lawrence based on a story by Agnes Rose, the cast features veteran actors Willie MacDaniel, Don Cochran, Mic Lydell, Irina Dvorin, Alex Kushner, James Stirling Lawrence and Donna Mitchell; it also introduces Agnes Rose, Natasha Akrawi, Jim Potter,  Penny Gibbs, Tim Cole, Kenny L. Clark, Kaitlyn Leary, Jessica Menyhart and Isaac Thomas.  The film is helmed by director Brian Lawrence, photographed by Doug Austin and produced by Aida Munoz.

Plans for the film include submission to all major film festivals.  It's the first of three short films which will be packaged together and sold as a feature.  The second short movie, The Politics of Street Crime, begins production in January. 

POLITICS OF STREET CRIME

In January 2009, Planet Four Films begins shooting the second portion of its feature trilogy -- The Politics of Street Crime.  Politics is the second short film to be produced by the new PHOBOS division of Planet Four.  Along with a third short film which begins production in April, My American Cousin and The Politics of Street Crime will be available for distribution as a feature film in July 2009.
